ADIDAS JABBAR HI X MARK GONZALES
Both Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Mark Gonzales are pioneers of their respective worlds. The same way that Jabbar pushed basketball forward, Gonz did the same in skateboarding. To celebrate those that shape their respective worlds, we bring these two icons together for a unique execution of the Jabbar Hi.
Mark's iteration of the Jabbar Hi takes a classic execution and moves into a new space through Gonz's distinct hand. The white and cream toned upper is constructed with smooth suede and tumbled leather, while being contrasted with a shadow red hairy suede. An oversized woven label on the tongue feature's mark's artwork that depicts the iconic goggles that jabbar played basketball in. The sockliner features additional artwork of mark's recognizable shmoos, wearing the same protective goggles.
